He writes: Fine rain briefly a.m. Partly sun day. Nino here with 5 big trout. Me cooked them. Started bus and moved it forward to free more of driveway. Nino directed move. Beets to Nino. Me drove west of us twice to view sign posts. GG talked to Lew. We ate GG beef and salad for supper. Me ate trout and salad. Saw rough looking cat near end of driveway road. Visa bill $574.48. Call from siding company. GG bleeding. GG cleaned left sink and dish drainer. We opened door and windows.

He writes: Put Reader's Digest video "Jewel of the Andes" back in the mail box marked "refused".  Called Eva Faye "Happy Birthday". GG made beg salad and cooked rhubarb. Big clock runs front room new c battery. Moved spices to rack hall closet. New cancer drug c225. Portland 106-77 in LA. Eva Faye 81. TT/NACO 11 yrs.

He writes: Partly sunny. Mail box full. Looked north end pole barn for kitchen things. No find. Flicker in yard. Saw no humming birds. Watched Lakers beat Portland bad 109-94 there. GG right foot very swollen. Me $1.00 from Lindenwold. Me in great pain. Opened door and windows. Called in for GG pills.  Pearl's Joe 51.

Drissle a.m. Sunny p.m. Windy L.C. Called Reader's Digest to stop Sesame St. type books 10:08 a.m. Called Safeway to renew GG azmacort. Mail lady here with package from Walter Drake. UPS here with big sign. Me called Walter Drake. Told lady package torn and patches. No cane chair. She said new one will be sent. Linda called from Chinook Winds. Card from Dorothy and announcement from Melissa. We to Chinook Winds. Mailed Letters P.O. Otis on the way. We treated to seafood dinner. We ate banana splits. Toured home show there. Linda called 9:55 p.m.

He writes: Partly sunny. Lite rain 7p.m. Washed my clothes. Mixed steer manure, peat moss and top soil. Planted tomato plant. Put gravel in bottom of mix. Rec'd $43 fed tax refund. GG made spinach dish for lunch. Also made Jello. Linda called. Me hurt top  of my right hand on pole barn door. Saw no humming birds.  Leisure time 6 yrs. Mt. St. Helens 1980. Hans Caroline 67 yrs.

He writes:  Partly sunny. Called KBCH about no music. Me to clinic 10:11 a.m. Doctor Rosencrantz checked my prostate by finger. Me to go back on 31st for biopsy. No asparin. No vite. Linda called many times. Lew called and Big Linda. Card from Eva Fay in mail. GG cooke beef roast and made gravy. Linda baked upside down cake for me with one candle. Nino brot 4 trout. Data rec'd from AARP about health care. Me cooked 4 trout 11 p.m.
