This blog contains excerpts from a diary I found in a public trash can in 2010. It's a look into the daily activities of an aging man in a small town. And no, I wasn't digging in the trash. It was sitting right on top...promise.

He writes: Sunny-warm. A few humming birds here. Crows soaking bird bread in bird bath and flying to Frances yard. Lew, Linda, and Eloise called. GG called Linda. Me washed GG clothes. GG made Jello. Me took bird bread, bananas, and bagels to Linda. Rec'd cake and chicken breasts from her. We ate tater salad, cottage cheese for lunch. Fried taters, squash and Linda's chicken for supper. My legs not working right. Put bread in upright garage freezer. Blisters on GG left leg. New bat right hearing aid. Lew took his bird home. We vacuumed bird seed front room. Voter's pamphlet in mail.
