We saw a few humming birds. 2 cats here. We ate GG rice-macaroni dish, rhubarb and peas for lunch. We talked to Joan, Caroline, and Ede on fone. Was told that Barney died on April 8th. Mail lady here with cane chair, 2 more lamps, and mini-sealer. We ate ham with pork-n-beans for supper. Washed clothes.

Me called Nino. Took him to Sears. Me bot gas weed wacker $69.99. Can't get it 'til 6.2.00. We both bot a few groceries at Safeway. Me left Lanoxin bottle at pharmacy for renewal by new doctor. Bot gas for mowers in Otis on way home. Linda bad words to GG on fone. GG and me to McDonalds 1:53 p.m. Deposited $44 bank. Asked about 13 month c.d. We to Pacific City thrift store then to T.T. Swam in pool. Bot sandwich food Lew's market. Played Bunco. No win prize. Used cut off B to C. Home 9:40 p.m.

Irene died 1980.

He writes: Showers and sun. Mailed order to Walter Drake. We to north end of house looking as rhodies and azaleas. Saw dead flicker. GG washed old bird feeder and filled it with new nectar. Called Oksenholt a  d.o. about being a new patient. Have appointment for Tuesday May 9 at 1:45 p.m. Tried to cancel Pacific City appointment. Reach a phone machine. Me ate trout and salad for lunch. GG chicken. Warm pork sandwiches and broccoli for supper. Called Leisure Time in Dallas Texas. Black fone o.k. We watched Linda's video Pocahontas.
